Players representing Ohio and West Virginia in Saturday night’s 77th annual OVAC Rudy Mumley All-Star Football Game checked into their dwelling-away-from-home for the subsequent week at Wheeling University on Sunday.

Ohio, which is coached by Barnesville’s Blake Allen and his Shamrocks workers, added Beaver Local’s Dylan Ferguson, while West Virginia, which is coached by Wheeling Central’s Mike Young and his Maroon Knights staff, added University’s Landon Cool.

That provides the Buckeyes 30 gamers, three more than the Mountaineers.

"We had a couple of youngsters who dropped out late, but we had been fortunate to get a couple of youngsters to substitute them," Murphy mentioned.

Rosters might be finalized throughout media day.

"It’s going to be a fun week. We’ve got a number of actions, along with making ready for the game, for the youngsters," Murphy famous.

Members of the OVAC McDonald’s All-Star Band report on Tuesday at 9 a.m. to begin working on their pre-sport and halftime routines, while the George Strager "Evening With the Stars" is set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The annual Queen of Queen’s Pageant can be staged on Thursday at 7 p.m. inside the Capitol Music Hall in downtown Wheeling, with the winner’s being announced Saturday night time at halftime of the sport.

A pep rally at 6:30 Friday evening concludes the pre-game festivities, with the sport kicking off at 7:15 p.m. Saturday inside Wheeling Island Stadium.
